This series strips away the theatrical pageantry of Lucha Libre to lay bare its raw human core. Beyond the vibrant masks and staged bravado lies a physical reality—part strain and part tragicomedy. I have tried to capture the arc of the arena experience: inside the ropes, the fleeting moments outside the ring, and the contrast between an energetic audience and a battered performer.
